Sustainability
Our Sustainable Ambitions
We’re convinced that sustainable change starts with ourselves, from within our own organisation. That is why we have established several sustainability standards that are an essential core part of our business.

Production
Remanufactured | New |
Automotive parts remanufacturing involves repairing and optimising existing parts. This process consumes far less energy and raw materials than the production of completely new parts, as it uses materials that are already present. This reduces the burden on production capacity and significantly reduces the environmental impact. | For the production of new automotive electronics, raw materials are processed entirely from scratch, resulting in high consumption of energy and raw materials. This process can contribute to overproduction, which often leads to excess stock and waste. Moreover, the environmental impact of new part production is significantly higher when compared with remanufacturing. |

Together for the future
The use of electronics in cars has expanded significantly in recent years, with the development and implementation of new and diverse technologies. Electric and Hybrid powertrains, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and connected car systems to name a few. With the ever-increasing complexity and integration of these systems, there is a growing demand for specialised expertise in maintaining and repairing them. By focusing on overhauling electronic components, ACTRONICS can help reduce the environmental impact of the automotive industry by extending the life of existing parts, reducing the need for new production and minimising the amount of waste from discarded components.
ACTRONICS has saved over 100,000KG of raw material
That’s equivalent to:
80 cars
4.000 bicycles
1.750.000
tennis balls
1 space shuttle
The global transition from a traditional linear economic model (take-make-use-discard) to a circular economic model (reduce-reuse-recycle) offers opportunities to reduces the adverse impact on our environment. This transition is also positively affected by:
- Current market competition
- Increasing costs for product disposal
- Stricter environmental policies
- Regulation of end-of-life products (EoL)
